Pizza Party

We had a pizza party with my 26 library helpers today. It was a bit mental, but I think the students had a good time.There are 10 applications for new helpers for next term. 36 helpers. holy crap.


I can;t post any photgraphs of the students, so instad enjoy an awesome photo I found on Feminist Pizza.


I can't exploit the kids I work with, but here is an awesome photo of me and my youngest brother Tommy 'fat baby' Dutton.

Lots of primary schools have pets in their classrooms. Usually small rodents, fish or terapins. In my last school they even hatched chicks and ducklings!!!

I WOULD LIKE A CAT FOR MY LIBRARY PLEASE! He could sit on my lap while I'm working the desk, or purr at reading students.
Please arrange a library cat for me someone.

love libraries

I got onto the MA at Brighton and the MA at UCL. BOOM!
I am going to be starting at UCL in September par-time.
VERY EXCITING!!! I will be doing lots fo studying in the Wellcome Collection cafe.

In other news I am going to an Accelerated Reader training session today.

I have so many exciting things to tell you and promise to do so soon.
i am working 50+ hours a week, training for two 10k runs and still keeping up a busy social life, so apologies for my lack of updates.

I just wanted to encourage any readers in the UK to head to the anti-cuts march on Saturday. I am going to make myself a big library-themed banner.
